I love facial masks! I just discovered this really cool self-heating sauna mask at Watsons Drugstore. Since my sister didn’t want to share the Dead Sea Mask she got from our aunt, I went to the mall to buy my own mask. It’s really important for women to exfoliate their skin once every week to remove dead skin cells. This helps unclog the pores, get rid of dry patches and uneven skin tone.
I chanced upon this intriguing face mask for oily skin from Garnier Pure, which says that it’s a self-heating sauna mask and deeply cleanses pores for up to seven days. It’s also very cheap because it’s like a 2-in-1 pack but for only Php 47.
Anyway, the content of each sachet is more than enough for my face so I shared it with my boyfriend. It’s not the usual green clay kind that dries up. It has a weird light blue color (probably because of the zinc content) and smells like cucumber. As soon as I started rubbing it on my face, I felt the tingling heat and it felt really good. I know it’s really shallow but the heat makes me think that the product is really working to purify my skin. Haha! My boyfriend liked the self-heating trick too.
After leaving it on our faces for five minutes, we washed it off with warm water. I checked my face immediately and I noticed that my pores looked smaller. My skin is not as shiny and it felt smooth. I really liked the result. After 7 days I used the remaining sachet and bought some more for the following weekends. Since then, I’ve included this sauna mask to my weekend exfoliating routine. It’s like having a sauna and spa in my own home. It’s really fun!
