My Idea Of A Good Facial Mask

Not all facial masks are created equal just as not all skin types are the same. And as for me, I have my own standard in choosing beauty products, whether they’re commercial or homemade. Take facial masks for example. If you come to think of it, most homemade facial masks contain natural ingredients that are generally good for you skin. However, the question is, will they still be as effective to me now that I’m on my late twenties as they were before when I was younger? And, how often should I use them in order for my skin to get the most out of them?

My idea of a really effective facial mask is one that is suitable for my skin at my present age, easy to use, and contains ingredients that are not only effective but also safe for me to use.

So, if you’re looking for the best homemade facial mask, you have to make sure that it contains ingredients that are integral in maintaining the energy of the cells and tissues of your skin such as vitamin A, vitamin B complex, and vitamin E. It should also contain elements that are essential for the development of the cell membranes in your skin. Finally, it should contain ingredients that will help shed off dead skin cells more quickly.

Let me show you a sample of a homemade facial mask I use from time to time. It’s pretty easy to make and will also give you the quickest effect.

You will need:

1 tablespoon Honey
1 tablespoon Milk Cream
1 gram Baking Soda

Mix baking soda with the milk cream until you achieve a foam like substance. Add honey into it and then mix again. Apply the mask to your skin and leave for at least twenty minutes before rinsing.

After using this homemade facial mask, you will notice that your skin is smoother. That’s because milk, baking soda, and honey contains vitamin A, some trace minerals, and fatty acids. All these components possess properties that help provide your skin with energy and nourishment, leaving it healthy and beautiful.
