I don’t know why pore strips are so expensive and they’re not even that effective in removing blackheads and whiteheads on my nose. In my search to find something that really works (aside from a monthly visit to my facialist), I raided Watson’s Drugstore.
So, here’s what I found…
Tada!
I’m so happy with my purchase! It only costs 17 pesos so I bought 5 packs! Hahaha!
iWhite Nose Pack is not the usual pore strip blackhead remover, instead it’s a peel-off mask that you just apply on your nose. It’s from Korea and the package says that it contains ingredients like plant extracts from Morus Alba (Mulberry), Aloe Vera and Panax ginseng. I’ve read a lot of good stuff about these things and they’re all really good for the skin. I’m just not sure how it helps remove blackheads. Well, anyway, I simply followed the instructions at the back of the package.
I cleansed my face and pat it dry with a towel. Then, I applied the white and creamy liquid on my dry nose and made sure that I covered the affected parts very well. I waited for at least 10 minutes or so for it to dry up. It felt really tight when it dried up. Then, I started peeling it. This may sound yucky but when I checked the side that used to stick on my nose, I saw a lot of blackheads and whiteheads stuck on it! It’s amazing! I never got the same results when I used pore strips. But, minutes later, I felt a tingly and a bit itchy sensation on the part of my skin where I applied it. I thought it was going to flare up, but nothing really happened afterwards.
My nose looked clear after that and even though there were still a bunch of pesky blackheads left, I still have a lot left from the first iWhite pack I opened and four more I kept in my drawer. I used it again after 3 days and the following weeks after that. Since I discovered it, I always keep a few sachets. It’s very efficient especially when I have to go to an event and it's a few weeks before my next spa schedule. I use it together with Garnier self-heating sauna mask. You can read about my experience in using it from my previous posts.
